Honoring Demia: A Special Soul Remembered

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our beloved Demia Baldon, who left us on March 28, 2025. Demia was an extraordinary presence in our lives, and we are deeply saddened by her loss.

Demia was diagnosed with holoprosencephaly. (HPE) is a birth defect (congenital condition) that causes the fetal brain to not properly separate into the right and left hemispheres. Though she was non verbal, we always heard her. And though she was wheelchair bound, we always felt her. Her brief time in the flesh enriched our lives immeasurably, touching many with her profound purpose that she was assigned. Demia presence bred selflessness, kindness, courage, patience and unconditional love. Demia will be dearly missed beyond measure by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her, and we will forever treasure the countless memories we shared.

Due to her condition requiring her to be g-tube fed from birth, round the clock care and hospice, we have always been faced with extreme medical expenses. As we prepare to lay our angel to rest we face unexpected financial costs. We are reaching out to you, our dear friends and family, for support as we navigate through this period of grief.
