Service Date: As soon as I know the Service Date for Mom’s Arrangements, I will post it on Facebook.

My name is Angie Baker, the Daughter of Della Webb Moore. I have created this GoFundMe on behalf of my Mom who has gone home to Heaven as of 2/11/2025 at 6:10 AM. I am all that is left in my family, besides having created a family of my own. My Mom, Della became a Type 1 Diabetic in 1996 and throughout the years her health gradually declined. In 2015, she was diagnosed with Benign Hypertensive Renal Disease and for years she was seeing a Kidney Specialist. In early 2021, she was then diagnosed with CKD (Chronic Kidney Disease) Stage 5, which led her to start Dialysis at home, 10 hours every night. The challenges she faced with Dialysis took a toll on her body, and her mind. She gradually lost her mobility, not being able to fully stand or walk on her own. She was always the kind of person that wanted to do everything on her own and help others in their time of need. Every weekend, she would deep clean her home from top to bottom. She loved going out with me on pretty days, and going into little bargain stores just to look around. She loved going out to eat, her favorite spot to eat being Pals. Most of all, she loved her family with all of her heart and soul. To go from being able to do all of that with ease, to struggling to get out of the bed in the mornings without assistance, it not only made her feel like a burden, but it hurt her as well.

On Friday, 02/07/2025, my life forever changed. My mom passed out in my arms and was no longer breathing. I called the ambulance, and watched as they carried her out of her home on a gurney, and drove away with her. She was bagged, and they had to start CPR. At the Hospital, I soon found out that she had to be shocked once with a defibrillator, and then had to have a ventilator inserted to help her breathe. She was without oxygen for a total of 12 minutes. The Emergency Staff then recommended that she be transported to a bigger Medical Facility via Med Flight. They explained to me that being without oxygen can cause serious brain damage, sometimes irreversible. It felt like I was in a nightmare, and all I wanted to do at that moment was wake up. When she arrived at the new Medical Facility, they ran several tests to see if she had suffered brain damage, and I soon found out that she had no brain activity. My mom did not want to be on a ventilator if she wouldn't have been able to wake up. I had to make that heartbreaking decision that no child should ever have to make on 02/09/2025. She was then placed under comfort care, and her body fought until 2/11/2025. I lost my bubby in 2004, I lost my daddy in 2018, and now I have lost my sweet mommy. All of this was so unexpected, and it happened so fast. I wouldn't wish this type of pain on anybody.

I created this GoFundMe to help with her Funeral Expenses, solely because she doesn't have Life Insurance. She has had Medical Bills due to Dialysis, and Hospitalization over the past few years. As I was sitting there beside my mom, holding and rubbing her hand, I worried constantly about finances and how I was going to lay mommy to her final resting place. Normally, I am not one to ask for help, but any help that I receive means absolutely everything to me and my family, and if you're unable to help, a prayer means everything to us as well. Anything that is left over after her Funeral Expenses and Medical Bills are paid off, will go towards her Home Repairs.

My Mom was a Woman of Deep Faith. She always told me that she couldn't wait to get to Heaven and be able to run, and skip just like she did when she was a child. I can imagine her being with her baby, and the love of her life, and all of her family. I can see her rejoicing and smiling from ear to ear in the arms of Jesus. She's free, and no longer being held back by Kidney Disease. I love you my dear sweet Mommy, and I will see you again.

Update: I would just like to thank everyone that has donated, messaged/called with such kind and loving words of comfort, and prayed for my family and I during this difficult time. It means everything to us, and I know it would have meant the world to mommy as well.
