On April 27th at 8:50 PM, my beautiful daughter, Déja gained her wings. Déja was truly one of a kind very intentional, wise beyond her years, strong, resilient, and full of light. She touched everyone she encountered and faced her battle with cancer with a strength that inspired so many. Even during her hardest moments, she remained a fighter. She was extraordinary, and I will carry her with me always. Over the past year, my life changed in ways I never could have imagined.

During this difficult season, I lost my job, but I trust that God allowed things to unfold this way so I could be fully present for my daughter when she needed me most. Caring for her during the most challenging time of her life became my priority, and every single moment I spent by her side was worth it. Now, I am facing the unimaginable grief of losing my daughter while also trying to rebuild my own life after being out of work for nearly a year.

During this time, many of my financial responsibilities were placed on hold as I focused solely on being a mother and caregiver. So many of you have reached out asking how you can support me, and in this moment, I want to be honest and transparent, I truly need help as I work to regain financial stability and begin navigating this next chapter of my life.
