Anyone who went to the Mckenna Y Restaurant or Jim Bobs loved Dee Dee. She was a devoted wife, mom, grandmother and friend to many. Unfortunately she was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in October and passed away on January 3rd.

Dee Dee was caring, hard working and kind. She loved her family and was her grandkids biggest cheerleader in all their sporting events. She spent almost 40 years working at the Mckenna Y and then Jim Bobs, and loved her coworkers and her customers. She would greet you with a smile and make you feel like you were in her own home, and if you were a regular she always kept up to date on how you and your family were doing. I spent so much time in that restaurant growing up and she helped my grandparents take care of me and taught me how to wait tables when I was old enough. She would even help walk a group of kids across the street to the elementary school.

Words can't describe how much she will be missed. Dee Dee gave so much to her family, customers and community and now is our time to give back to her. Please consider donating to help her family with hospital bills and other expenses.
