Debbie Lyn Gross and I have been friends for 30 years, sharing a love for Bay Area sports teams like the 49ers, Warriors, Giants, and Sharks. We enjoyed countless live music concerts together, and Debbie was always up for a good puzzle. She was a beloved bartender at The Poor House Bistro in San Jose and at The Eagles in Mt. View, where she made friends with everyone she met. Debbie's warmth, humor, and passion for life touched so many people in our community.

Sadly, Debbie lost her battle with Stage 4 liver cancer and passed away on January 29, 2026. Her passing has left a huge hole in the hearts of all who knew her. As we come together to honor her memory, we are facing the challenge of covering the costs of her final expenses. The funds raised will go directly toward memorial services and other necessary expenses to lay Debbie to rest with the dignity and love she deserves.
