Hello everyone, My name is Shawnita Stevenson and I never imagined I’d be writing something like this yet again.

On June 16, 2025, I lost someone who meant the world to me — DeAndre "Marley", my oldest son and best friend. His passing was sudden, and I’m still trying to wrap my head around it. He was full of life, laughter, and love — the kind of person who made you feel seen and safe just by being near.

We weren’t prepared for this emotionally, spiritually, or financially. Losing someone is already so heavy, and the weight of funeral costs on top of that is something I simply can’t carry alone.

I’m creating this GoFundMe to help cover the costs of laying DeAndre "Marley" to rest — the funeral service and anything else needed to give him the peaceful goodbye he deserves.

Every single donation, no matter the size, will help us take one step closer to giving DeAndre "Marley" the dignity and love that he gave to so many of us. If you’re not in a place to give, I completely understand. Just sharing this, or sending love and your prayers, means more than I can say.
