Early Friday morning, June 20, 2025, Dawson Chandler, 22, was returning home from work when he was in a fatal car accident. His entire family and friends are devastated by this tragic and sudden loss.

Dawson graduated from Caney Creek High School in 2021. He was employed as a Lineman Apprentice and recently engaged to the love of his life Destinie. Their engagement party was scheduled for this coming Saturday, June 28th.

This sudden tragedy has impacted the lives of so many family members, friends, and people whose lives were touched by Dawson. And, there were many! He was a wonderful young man who had great potential and it was exciting to see the direction in which he was headed.

He is survived by his immediate family, father David Chandler, mother Ann Chandler, sister Marissa Chandler, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and even grandparents.
