My little sister and my best friend, Davyn Aliyah Jones, lost her battle with leukemia on Sunday, January 25—just a month and four days after her 23rd birthday. We are asking for donations to put her to rest peacefully in southern California. Davyn was a free spirit who was witty, silly, compassionate and selfless. This all remained true while she poured herself into her fight with cancer, with hopes to get better and travel the world.
We would like to give her a service and burial that honors her wishes, her vibrance, and allows her to rest in peace, forever pretty in pink. All money raised will go toward honoring her—if we should raise more than the costs of her service, the funds will go toward purchasing an adjacent plot, allowing her and I to rest together when the time comes. We thank you for your prayers, for your donations (no matter the size), for sharing on our behalf, and/or leaving a message sharing your memories with Davyn.
