Honoring David L. Williamson
With heavy hearts, we are sharing the loss of our beloved father, David Williamson (51) he was in a tragic motorcycle accident on the 1-264 Crittenden Drive exit early Thursday morning December 18th.
The crashed bike was noticed by airport police and impounded around 6:00AM with it being a dark rainy morning the search for our father fell short. Around 10:30AM a samaritan reported a “man down” to LMPD where they then arrived on scene and found our father deceased. Upon checking local street surveillance they discovered that the crash happened around 5AM.
David was a resident of Louisville, Kentucky attending St.Helens Parish and graduating from St.Xavier High School class of 92’. His passing was sudden and unexpected, leaving behind profound grief and a family forever changed.
David was an avid biker and was always down for having a good time with his friends. David lost his father early this year and has been trying to find his footing with this new chapter in his life all while living with stage 4 Liver failure.
Losing our father so suddenly has created both an overwhelming emotional loss and an unexpected financial hardship.
The funds raised will go directly toward funeral services and burial expenses, allowing David’s life to be honored with the dignity and respect he deserves. Any remaining funds will help support his daughters as they begin navigating life without their father.
Any contribution, no matter the size, is deeply appreciated. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this page and keeping David’s daughters in your thoughts and prayers. Your kindness, generosity, and support mean more than words can express during this incredibly difficult time.
Thank you for helping us honor David Williamson and support his daughters when they need it most.
