Honoring David Thornberry's Memory

David Wayne Thornberry, 46, of Butler, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 30, 2024. Born on May 20, 1978, in Covington, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Ruth and Elmer Thornberry, Sr. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Paul Thornberry and Gerald Thornberry, Jr.

David was known for his hardworking nature, always putting in the effort to support his family and friends. He had a deep passion for the simple joys of life, particularly camping and cars, which he enjoyed sharing with those closest to him. A loving husband, father, brother, and friend, David's generosity and spirit will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

David leaves behind his beloved wife of 24 years, Stephanie Thomas, and their four children: David Thornberry, Jr., Tony Thomas, Brandon Thornberry, and Faith Thomas. He is also survived by his brother, Tommy Thornberry, and his sisters: Kathy Thornberry, Becky Thornberry, Mary Thornberry, and Linda Thornberry.

A celebration of David's life will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Goshen Christian, 1773 Brachpiner Road, Morning View, KY 41063.

David's memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones, and his spirit will continue to guide them through the days ahead. May he rest in peace.
