On July 19th, David suffered a severe hemorrhagic stroke that impacted his brain stem, leading to a grueling two-month hospital stay. Despite facing one of the most challenging types of strokes, David displayed extraordinary courage and resilience, fighting valiantly each day for a chance to return to us.

His passing has been a profound shock. We all clung to hope and prayed for his recovery, encouraged by the love and support that surrounded him. David’s strength allowed him a brief return to us in his final days, just long enough for us to reaffirm that he knew he was surrounded by love.
