Hello, My name is Nina Luna and I was Davids best friend of 21 years. He was my brother and we acted as such. He opened up my world and I his. Thick as theives one might say. David Barron was a Jazz DJ for KSDS 88.3 for many years and it was his passion. Not only was he a good friend to me, he was a good friend to many others. David would encourage young muscisians and singers and watch them rise to fame.

David was diagnosed at the end of October 2025 with a hard hitting fast spreading cancer. There wasnt even enough time to comprehened what lay waiting. I was with him the whole time, trying to fight a losing battle. David passed January 20th 2026, ironically enough it was National DJ Day, very appropiate. Because of this unforseen passing I am asking for donations to help with last medical bills and funeral expenses. David was going to post a Go Fund Me page while he was still alive but he was scared no one would donate. That broke my heart. He didnt know how much he was truely loved. I hope he is proven wrong. I will miss by brother and best friend.
