December 17, 2025. My oldest son, David Alan Johnson, decided that the demons he was fighting internally were just too much of a burden to handle and chose to take his own life. He was 16 years old. He loved his siblings, Madison and Tony, and his dog, Bronx. He had a good heart and a good soul. He always could make people smile and laugh even on rough days. His own smile would light up the room and become contagious. He loved to play video games and listen to music. He was extremely smart and passionate about the things he really loved and enjoyed. We do not have any clarity at this time as to what caused my handsome baby boy to make this final decision. Just hoping he has now found peace.

At this time, we find ourselves entirely unprepared for this situation. Let’s be honest, no parent is ever prepared for something like this. So, we are asking at this time for any type of help to go toward the viewing and cremation fees. Yes, he is being cremated. He had spoken on this before, stating, “he didn’t want the bugs to get to him.”

I do appreciate those that have reached out. Now we need every person that has said they cared to genuinely show that and help us to put his body to rest.

He deserves it.

Once all arrangements are made, I will be posting for those that cared to say their goodbyes to do so.
