It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David Easterly. The family is currently facing unexpected funeral expenses and would be grateful for any support you can offer.

Dave was loved by so many and will be missed greatly in this world. While he is no longer here with us, he is with us through our memories, experiences, and shared times together.

Dave's family, Sara Easterly (wife) and (son) Chance, along with countless extended family and friends, will forever be blessed for the time Dave walked by their sides. His smile and laugh could brighten even the gloomiest of days. His willingness to help others was apparent to all who crossed his path.

Throughout Dave's life, he always gave back to his community. He served on the Honolulu Police Department from 1989-1998 when he and his family relocated to Washington. From 1998-2023, he served as a detective for the King County Sheriff's Department. He set out every day to show compassion to those who needed it the most. His respect for those he came in contact with via his daily civil duties will long be remembered.
