Honoring Darcy: Support Her Memorial Bench

It's hard to believe 2 years have passed since we said goodbye to Darcy. To commemorate her incredible life and light we are sponsoring a bench in her name at the University of Pennsylvania. The bench has been installed at the Greenfield Intercultural Center, where many of us have had some of our richest memories with Darcy through the racial justice and activist work that she was most passionate about during her time at Penn. We look forward to this being a space for reflection, inspiration, and to sit with the warmth of Darcy's ever-present spirit.

This fund has been established to invite friends, family & community to join us in the contribution made toward sponsoring this memorial bench.

For those able to join us, we will be memorializing Darcy and dedicating her bench on May 19th through the following 2 events during alumni weekend:

All Alumni Memorial with Alumni Gospel Choir (Houston Hall): 10am – 12pm (after the opening remarks and song, estimated 10:30ish)
GIC Alumni Brunch: 11am – 1:30pm (memorial time estimated 1 – 1:30pm)
