Honoring Daniel Padron’s Life and Legacy

In Loving Memory of Daniel Padron

On Thursday, December 5th, Daniel Padron tragically passed away at the age of 50. He leaves behind his loving parents, Jim and Anna Padron, and his younger brother, Adrian Padron. Daniel’s sudden loss has left a deep hole in all of our hearts, and we are asking for your support during this difficult time.

For 20 years, Daniel worked at UC Davis as an Advisor to Scholars at SISS, where he was deeply respected and loved. He had a kind, loving, and gentle spirit, with a smile that could light up any room. His humor was equally warm, and he lived life in the best way he knew how—full of joy, kindness, and generosity. Daniel appeared to be in the prime of his life, healthy and happy, with so much ahead of him.

He was a dedicated member of the Northern California running group Runnin’ for Rhett, where he found community and belonging. Daniel’s commitment to maintaining a healthy lifestyle and continually bettering himself was an inspiration to all who knew him.

His parents, Anna and Jim, were incredibly proud of all that Daniel had accomplished. The shocking loss of their son has left them devastated. Daniel’s younger brother, Adrian, had just returned to California after earning his PhD in Tennessee, and the two had big plans for the future. They looked forward to growing old together, traveling, and enjoying life wherever it took them. Even when they were apart, Adrian always felt his brother’s presence, a testament to the close bond they shared.

Daniel was not only a supportive brother but also a compassionate and selfless individual who gave so much of himself to help others. He had plans to become a drug and alcohol counselor, but even without that title, he made a positive difference in the lives of everyone around him. Whether family, extended family, or friends who became like family, you always knew you could count on Daniel’s love and support.

The world has lost a truly special soul, and Heaven has gained an angel. We are asking for your help to support Daniel’s family as they navigate this heartbreaking time. All donations will go toward covering funeral expenses and providing food for family and friends as we gather to celebrate Daniel’s life.

Your kindness, love, and support are greatly appreciated as we honor Daniel’s memory. Thank you for being part of his life and ours.
