My name is Daniel De La Cruz Jr. and unfortunately my dad Daniel De La Cruz Sr has passed away and went to be with the Lord. I loved my Dad and always looked up to him because he always seemed to be a person of influence, and my family always loved when he was around. He didn’t always have an easy life but the last years of his life were the best years we had with him. We were able to celebrate thanksgivings, Christmas, birthdays, and Easter’s with him. He was a son, a father, a brother, an uncle, and a grandpa. I called him pops, my grandma called him buffalo, some called him Danny boy, but most importantly he was Gods son! And this happening has truly broke my heart in a way I can’t explain and our entire family is feeling it.

We want to honor my dad’s life in a way that truly reflects the love and joy he brought to our family and friends. That’s why we are raising funds to pay for his ceremony and burial that he deserves. Having a special place where we can visit him and remember the good times means so much to us. It’s important for our family to have a space to gather, reflect, and keep his memory alive for generations to come.
