Our family is heartbroken to share that Daneli D’jae Nasir Hoggard tragically lost his life in a senseless act of violence on December 21, 2025, shortly after celebrating his 16th birthday on November 4th.

Daneli was ambitious, full of life, and always working toward his goals. He had a big smile, a kind heart, and a spirit that made people feel loved and welcomed. He was a respectful, well-mannered young man — never in trouble, never involved in violence, and focused on doing the right things in life.

Daneli was determined to build a bright future. He dreamed of working in the trucking industry, and he talked often about the plans he had for himself and his family. He worked hard, stayed motivated, and carried a passion for his future that made us so proud.

Our family’s wish is to honor Daneli’s life in a meaningful way as we say goodbye. Your support — in any form — means more than we can express.
