Honoring Dan: Support Veronica After Her Tragic Loss
Donation protected
Over the years, the Mirehouse family has been an integral part of so many communities, touching countless lives with their kindness, generosity, and unwavering support. Whether volunteering at charity events, helping friends and family in times of need, or simply being a source of strength for those around them, Dan and Veronica have always given so much to others.
As many of you know, Dan tragically passed away on February 23rd after a long and courageous battle with kidney disease. He fought with incredible strength for years, but despite his resilience, the illness ultimately took him from us too soon. His passing has left an immeasurable void in the lives of those who loved him.
On top of the emotional heartbreak, Veronica is now facing unexpected financial hardships. Unfortunately, she won’t be able to collect Dan’s pension or Social Security for another five years, making this transition even more difficult. While she continues working as a bus driver and caring for her mother, there’s little time or opportunity to find another source of income right now.
Dan and Veronica’s impact on their community was profound—they were even honored as Citizens of the Year in Battle Ground, Washington, for their dedication to helping others. Now, it’s our turn to give back.
If you are able to donate, no matter how big or small, it would mean the world to Veronica as she navigates this challenging time. Let’s come together to support someone who has given so much to so many. If you can’t contribute financially, please consider sharing this fundraiser with others who may be able to help.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and love.
