It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Dallin Joseph Laufenberg. Dallin was with Roland Steadham on the tragic day of January 27th, when Roland’s plane went down, taking with it, our world.

Dallin was a beacon of hope—full of life, ambition, and love. He married the love of his life, Gracie, on October 25, 2025. In their three short months of marriage, they shared more love than many experience in a lifetime. Together, they dreamed boldly and planned a bright future side by side, hand in hand.

Dallin was a career-driven, multi-engine, commercial pilot deeply immersed in the aviation community. He dreamed of using his career to provide a beautiful life for their family as a commercial pilot. Gracie, dreams of becoming a cardiac surgeon, dedicating her life to helping others. She is a premed student at BYU-Idaho in her fourth year while maintaining a 3.9 grade point average. She is scheduled to graduate Premed this July. She will continue her education with 5 more years of medical school. If you knew and loved Dallin, you would love Gracie just as deeply.

With the tragic loss of Dallin, Gracie’s world has been shattered. Everything about this Go Fund Me, is for Gracie. To help her to be able to continue her education and an opportunity to help fulfill Dallin’s dream of providing for his bride.
