In November 2023, our father was diagnosed with stage 4 small cell lung cancer. Despite his incredible courage and resilience through treatment, the cancer returned aggressively after a brief period of remission. Within just two months, it had spread throughout his body.

He has been the best father, grandfather, and friend we could have ever asked for. He has touched so many lives with his kindness, love, and strength, and it breaks our hearts to see him endure so much pain and suffering this past year.

Our father is now under hospice care, and his time with us is limited. We are preparing for what no family is ever truly ready for.
