My dad was a veteran, a devoted husband, father and grandfather, a goofy, intelligent and patient individual. He helped everyone he could and shared his knowledge and experience freely. He didn't often ask for help and that trait runs in our family, but this situation is beyond any of us. This fundraiser is now for his general burial fees and also to help my mom who has no other income currently.

In the coming months, myself (Freedom) and my sisters and nieces will be taking time out to figure out all the stuff one has to when their parent dies and then some. All money here will be used primarily for the cremation and burial service as well as aid for my mom until we can figure out transferring my dad's Veteran's benefits to her.
