My beautiful daughter was born a warrior. She was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder, methylmalonic acidemia (MMA), and doctors predicted she would only be with us for a year and a half. Doctors said she wouldn’t be able to crawl or stand up. But our little fighter defied the odds, she started to crawl and stand up on her own. Blessing our family with nearly four incredible years of love, laughter, and light.
Her life was a constant battle against an unforgiving condition. She endured countless hospital stays, seizures, and the daily challenge of a feeding tube and strict diet. Every common cold was a life threatening event. In the end, her little body, having fought so bravely against this disease and multiple organ failure was finally able to rest. She passed away peacefully, wrapped in the love of her family.
She was not defined by her diagnosis, she was defined by her incredible strength and her radiant spirit. She was a blessing, a teacher of life, and a the brightest light in our family.
If you feel moved to support us during this heartbreaking time, any donation toward her funeral expenses would be deeply cherished gift. Thank you for your prayers, your love and for helping us honor the beautiful brace life of my sweet girl Cynthia Sanchez.
