Our family is heartbroken after the tragic passing of our beloved mother, Cynthia Romero. Cynthia was the kind of person who could make anyone laugh. She was funny, talkative, and had a personality that could light up a room. She loved connecting with people and bringing joy to others. If you met her even once, you probably remember her stories, her laughter, and the way she made everyone feel welcome. Seven years ago, Cynthia faced one of the hardest battles of her life when she suffered a stroke. Doctors told us the odds were against her and that she might never recover. But Cynthia was stronger than anyone expected. She proved them wrong with her determination and spirit, continuing to live her life and share her laughter with the people she loved. Cynthia was also a proud Fourth of July baby, born on a day that celebrates freedom, strength, and resilience — qualities that truly reflected who she was. Her passing has left a huge hole in our family and in the hearts of everyone who knew her. Life has changed drastically without her, and the grief we feel is immeasurable. We are creating this fundraiser to help our family with the unexpected expenses that come with this tragic loss and to honor Cynthia’s memory.
