Farewell to a Beloved Mother, Sister, Grandmother, and Friend

Yesterday, the family of Cynthia Rose Pierce tragically said goodbye to their beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. Her love for her children, granddaughters, family, and friends was fierce and big—some would say TEXAS SIZED! Even as we grieve, we take comfort in the promises found in God’s Word; John 14:1-3 assure us that He has prepared a place for us, bringing hope and peace during this difficult time. We find solace knowing that Cynthia is now at rest in His presence and walking the streets of Heaven.

A Legacy of Faith, Strength, and Love

Cristen expressed it best: “My mom was a woman of faith, strength, and love. She prayed for us, encouraged us, always believed in us, and lived her life with a heart devoted to God. My brother, Zac, and I were her loves, and when her granddaughters Cayla and Gemma came along, her love for them was extraordinary. I am forever grateful for the wisdom she shared, the example she set, and the love she poured into our family and those she considered family. Her legacy of faith and love will continue to guide us every single day.”

We are comforted by the belief that my mom is now in the presence of the Lord—healed, whole, and resting in His eternal peace. She is celebrating with Jesus, Mimi, and her beautiful aunt Edith. The girls are back together, and we know goodbye is only temporary. One day, we will see her again in the Kingdom of Heaven.
