On December 13th, we lost a beautiful soul, Crystal Woodard—lovingly known as “Sissy”—after a tragic accident. Crystal, who was non-verbal and autistic, touched everyone she encountered with her radiant smile, joyful spirit, and quiet yet powerful ability to make others feel seen and valued. Despite the challenges she faced, Crystal’s light shone brightly, leaving an indelible mark on her family, caregivers, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Following the accident, Crystal was placed on a ventilator for three days. Although she ultimately passed away, she is now giving the gift of life through organ donation so that others may live. Even in her passing, Crystal continues to show extraordinary generosity and love. Her loss has left an immeasurable hole in our hearts, but we take comfort in knowing that her kindness, warmth, and beautiful spirit will live on through the lives she touched and the lives she will now help save. At this time, we are humbly asking for support to help cover medical and cremation expenses. Any donation, no matter the size, is deeply appreciated and will help Crystal’s family honor her memory with the dignity, love, and compassion she so freely gave to others. Thank you for your kindness, support, and for helping keep Crystal’s memory alive.
