Yesterday, we lost our beloved brother-in-law, Craig James, tragically and far too soon.
Craig was everything, a devoted husband, an incredible father, a loving brother, cousin, and a friend to so many. He had a larger-than-life presence. When Craig walked into a room, you knew it. His booming voice, his contagious laugh, and his magnetic personality filled every space and brought people together. He didn’t just enter a room—he lit it up.
But above all else, Craig was a father.
His entire world revolved around his five children. From football and lacrosse to soccer and dance, Craig was always there, on the sidelines, cheering the loudest, beaming with pride. Being their dad wasn’t just part of his life—it was his life. His kids knew, every single day, that they were his greatest joy.
Craig and his wife Kristen have always worked tirelessly to give their children everything they could. Raising five children is no small task, yet Craig never asked for anything for himself. He sacrificed endlessly so his children could have more, more opportunities, more experiences, more support. Kristen works full-time alongside him, and together they built a life centered on love, dedication, and family.
Craig’s sudden passing has left an unimaginable void, not only emotionally, but also in the day-to-day life of this family. The children are now facing a future without their father’s presence, guidance, and unwavering support.
Christopher, 17, will be turning 18 in August and is preparing for graduation and college, milestones his dad was so proud to witness. Andrew, 15, turns 16 this May. Michael, 14, just celebrated his birthday in February. And the twin girls, Sofia and Grace, are 10 and will be turning 11 in July. Five young lives forever changed.
This fundraiser was not something the family asked for, it is something we are doing because we know the weight they are carrying. The emotional loss is already overwhelming, and the added financial stress will only make this time more difficult.
If you are able to give, even a small amount, it would mean more than words can express. With Craig’s large Irish family and Kristen’s big Italian family, we know how powerful community can be, every bit of support truly adds up.
Most importantly, we ask that you keep Kristen and the children in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.
Thank you for helping us honor Craig’s life and support the family he loved so deeply.
