Our family is heartbroken as we mourn the tragic loss of our beloved Corrina who was brutally attacked and murdered in Downtown Riverside last week.

You may be familiar with the story, as it was reported by multiple media outlets ... but this isn't just another news segment for us. Corrina was our mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, daughter, and friend. We can't just change the channel -- we have to face this nightmare and work to honor Corrina with the dignity, respect, and the farewell that she deserves.

This tragedy comes during an already devastating time for our family. Less than six months ago we lost Corrina's sister to cancer. The grief of losing two loved ones so close together has left our family emotionally and financially overwhelmed.

Corrina faced many challenges in recent years, including struggles with mental health and other difficult battles, but she was never forgotten by the people who loved her.

We are asking for help to cover the costs of memorial services and any unexpected expenses that may arise in the process.
