My sister Cookie and I have always been very close. She was a single mom who faced many challenges throughout her life, and always did her best to care for her family. We grew up without a father, and our mother did everything she could to support us, but we often struggled to make ends meet. And despite the hardships, she remained strong and loving.

Last year, Cookie developed kidney failure. She spent months in the hospital, fighting with everything she had. There were only a few brief moments when she was able to come home, but each time, she was sent back to the hospital. It has been a long, drawn-out, and heartbreaking situation for our entire family. Cookie was such a fighter, but yesterday at 1:42 am, she was sent to heaven. Our hearts are broken, and we are trying to find a way to honor her memory.

We are asking for help to cover the costs of funeral services and a memorial for Cookie. We simply do not have the means to give her the farewell she deserves. We know that times are tough for many people, and we are deeply grateful for any support. By the grace of God and the kindness of others, we hope to give Cookie a proper goodbye.
