Honoring Cody Dorn: Support for His Loved Ones

Donation protected
On Sunday, Feb. 2nd, Cody Dorn was killed in a tragic accident after leaving work at Menards in Burlington, Wisconsin. He was only 21 years old, just starting his life with his girlfriend. He was a leader in high school and involved in many organizations. He came in 2nd in academic standing in his class. He had recently graduated with honors from WCTC in December 2024. As has been shared, Cody was a kind-hearted individual who would always be there if you needed help. He would give the shirt off his back for you. He was always patient and understanding with everyone he encountered. He was a hard worker both in academics and at his job.

Cody had a great group of long-time friends that will miss him very much. My son was lucky enough to be one of those friends. There were many times that Cody stayed overnight at our house and got up early to go to work, even though his friends were still sleeping. He was always friendly and helpful when we would see him at work. Throughout the years, he showed a great sense of humor and loyalty. He will be greatly missed by family (Parents-Douglas and Kim Dorn), three brothers, his girlfriend and co-worker Ashlynn Jensen, and extended family.

With the blessing of Cody's family, donations to assist the family with the Celebration of Life to be held on Sat. Feb. 8th and other related expenses when such an unexpected tragedy occurs. No amount of money will bring Cody back, but lessening the burden on the family can let them know that people are here to support them.
