It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Coach Lamar Butler Sr. a beloved mentor, leader and friend to so many in our community. Coach Butler dedicated his life to shaping young athletes both on and off the court, instilling not just basketball skills, but values of discipline, teamwork, and integrity.

Coach Butler wasn’t just a coach—he was a husband, a father, a grandfather, and a father figure to so many young men in the DMV community.
