Our hearts are broken as we share that Tara’s husband, Clyde Toval Jr, a devoted teacher of 22 years, loving husband, and incredible father, passed away after a sudden and devastating illness.

Over the past weeks, he fought bravely while receiving intensive medical care. Despite the tireless efforts of his medical team, he passed away surrounded by love.

He dedicated his life to his family, his students, and his community. Anyone who knew him knew how deeply he cared for the people around him and how much he gave to others through his work as a teacher and mentor.

Tara is now facing the unimaginable, navigating life without her partner while caring for their two children and managing the many unexpected expenses that come with such a loss.
