Honoring Chucky: Support The Blackwell Family

Hey guys, Ciara here. You might know me as Lisa's daughter, or Linda and Carvel's granddaughter. Husband, Dad, Pop, Uncle and Best Friend, our Chucky passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 20th, 2019.  To me, he was Uncle Ruck. Uncle Ruck's son Sean, and granddaughter, Jamira and are working to organize memorial services, keep all the bills paid,  organize and clean the house (a task!), support Aunt Sharon (Chucky's best friend and wife of 39 years), and grieve all at once. Our family, our people, are scrambling in the midst of tragedy, and they are being stronger, and more amazing than we all can know. Sean has paid out of pocket for all services and arrangements so far. Having just moved to New Jersey this year with his love, Akasha, this experience has been really tough on his finances, not to mention our hearts. Uncle Ruck didn't have life insurance, and our family is working hard to make sure nothing falls through the cracks. Aunt Sharon is going to need a lot of support in the coming months to make sure she stays on top of her health, and we are ALL going to need some support in making sure we keep things afloat without Uncle Ruck over at the Blackwell house. Because Sean is a saint who refuses to ask for help, and puts up one hell of a fight to accept it, I'm setting up this GoFundMe (with his hard-fought blessing and support from Jamira and Aunt Sharon). Sean is holding everything together, but his dad just passed. We are asking so much of our guy right now. Aunt Sharon and Jamira too.  So far people have come out of the woodwork to visit and check in with the family, and we are all so, so grateful. But I want to ask now, to those of you who have offered help, and those of you able and willing to support us now, to please, please donate any amount at all to offset the cost associated with this great loss. These funds will be going directly to Sean Blackwell and the Blackwell family to aid with the costs associated with mortuary services, as well  as travel costs, medical and housing expenses expected in the coming months.
