In Loving Memory of Christopher Luis Castaing
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Christopher Luis Castaing, who died suddenly on Sunday, February 8th, 2026, at just 53 years old.
Chris was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and uncle—a man known for his selfless nature, sense of humor, and deep love for his family. A lifelong Bay Area resident, proud Puerto Rican, and devoted 49ers and Giants fan, he spent 31 years at Guittard Chocolate Company, touching countless lives along the way.
He leaves behind his wife Elizabeth, his partner of 32 years and beloved spouse of 24, and their two daughters—his greatest pride. Chris worked tirelessly to provide them with the best education possible, rooted in faith, values, and community. Adrianna, a Moreau High School Class of 2017 graduate, and her younger sister, currently in high school, carry forward their father's legacy of dedication, sacrifice, and love.
We are asking for support during this unimaginably difficult time. Funds raised will help cover funeral and memorial expenses, easing the financial burden of Chris's sudden passing and allowing Elizabeth and the girls space to grieve and heal.
Any donation, no matter the size, is deeply appreciated. If you're unable to give, please consider sharing this page and keeping the family in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for your compassion, generosity, and support.
With love,
The Castaing Family
