Honoring Christine: Support Her Memorial & Cause

Honoring Christine Alund and Family

The Ingram and Alund family are fundraising in support of Christine Alund and her memorial service.

On June 2nd, 2024, Christine suddenly passed away from a major brain aneurysm surrounded by her loving family at the young age of 55. What started as a normal day for the Alund family turned into something completely unimaginable and devastating. This sudden tragic event leaves very little time for her husband James, son Joshua, 21 year old daughter Savannah, and 18 year old daughter Abigail very little time to plan and raise funds to cover the costs of the "Celebration of Life Service"; therefore any amount of support in whatever way possible is greatly appreciated!

Although Christine's passing was greatly unexpected and horribly saddening to all, she left a significant mark on the world in her wake. Due to Christine's registration as an Organ Donor, she'll leave behind many other families eternally grateful for her generosity and heart.

Therefore, a quarter of proceeds gathered for this cause will be donated to the Brain Aneurysm Foundation; a nonprofit organization designed to raise awareness and push for increased funding in brain aneurysm research, promotion of early detection of brain aneurysms, as well as further research to improve patient outcomes and save lives.

Almost 500,000 deaths worldwide each year are caused by brain aneurysms, and half of the victims are younger than 50. Ruptured brain aneurysms are fatal in about 50% of cases, and most of the deaths are due to massive brain injury from the initial bleeding. Christine was only 55 when she was inflicted with a ruptured brain aneurysm, leading to eventual brain death.

With further urgency put into the research of brain aneurysms, we could save another family from the loss of their mother.
