On May 19, 2025, Christian D. Turman lost his life, leaving behind a family who loved him deeply.

During this difficult time, members of the Knox County Rescue Squad (KCRS) assisted in the recovery of Christian, helping bring him home to his loved ones.

Now, through the love and generosity of his mother, we hope to create something lasting in his memory.

We are raising funds to purchase a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) for the Knox County Rescue Squad Dive Team. This underwater vehicle will be named in honor of Christian D. Turman.

An ROV is an underwater robotic vehicle that allows rescue personnel to search and inspect areas beneath the surface without immediately placing divers in potentially dangerous conditions. This technology can support underwater searches, improve responder safety, and assist in recovery operations.

For families waiting for news of a missing loved one, every effort matters. Having the right equipment can make a meaningful difference in how rescue teams respond during some of life's most difficult moments.

Christian's mother hopes that, by honoring her son in this way, his memory can continue to help others.
