My name is Karen Barnette and I've known Chris Haverly for over 45 years. Paula Coffey and I ( who has known Chris for over 30 years) are teaming up for this Go Fund me.  

He has been rescuing animals for over 12 years. He transported animals from Southwest Virginia to rescues in Northern Virginia on a weekly basis so they could have their forever homes. He's even transported animals to Florida, South Carolina, and North Carolina for animals to have a better life.

He tragically lost his life in a vehicle accident after making a transport of 40 plus animals. He always said, "Whatever it takes."

We are raising money to go to PAWS of SW VA and Rescue Dog and End of Life Sanctuary. The money raised will be used to carry on Chris's legacy to continue supporting animals in need. The money will be used for spay-neuter, vet bills, dog food, cat food, and transport of animals to their forever homes.

Once again, doing whatever it takes... Saving lives. We miss you! The animals miss you! You are irreplaceable. Always a hero to so many of us. We've got it from here.
