Honoring Chris: A Loving Husband and Friend
Donation protected
Chris was born March 13, 1969, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was the third born of seven siblings. Chris is survived by his wife Samantha,
his sister-in-law Haven, brother-in law Wesley, brothers Eric, Trevor, Jason, Ryan, Nathan and sister Dana.
As a child Chris was trained as a classical pianist and his love for music carried on throughout his life. He arrived in Dallas in his early 20's and quickly became a member of the Dallas restaurant community. He was known for being an exceptionally hard worker and received such accolades as Best Bartender in Dallas. Chris was very proud of his work and joined the Al Biernat’s family to open Al Biernat’s North in 2017.
Chris met Samantha in 1995 and the two became inseparable the moment they met. Chris and Sammie would go on to marry in 2001. Chris was a devoted son-in-law and brother-in law and stood faithfully by Margie, Sammie & Haven’s side from the moment he entered their lives. Sammie and Chris built a wonderful life together full of many loves and happy memories.
Chris loved all animals and connected with them with the same ease and genuine affection as he did with all the people he met throughout his life.
Smokey, Snoopy, Yahoo, Cocoa, Corwin, Fishy, Teddie, Beauregard, his Rincon horses, little Winifred. Too many to mention. They all held a special place in his heart. He would do anything to help an animal just as he would with any soul he met.
Chris had a great love of the ocean. The very idea of going to the beach and playing in the waves would bring that light in his eyes that could not be mistaken. He truly found his happy place and that is a rare and meaningful thing to find. In our hearts we should remember him there.
Unfortunately, Chris' sudden illness and hospital stays led to high medical bills. If you would like to contribute to help Samantha any amount of support would be greatly appreciated.
