Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Chhorn Pan (92). He passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Lowell General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was a cherished father who brought so much love and light into our lives who touched the lives of so many with his kindness, laughter, and love. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is survived by: wife Vantha Sor(81), his sons, Chay Pan and his wife, Sophary, of Dracut, MA, and Chhem Pan and his partner, Mary Don, of Lowell, MA; his daughters, Ampa Pan of Thailand, Bunphan Pan of Lowell, MA, Vary Pan of Chicopee, MA, and Vanara Pan of Revere, MA., 28 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren.

Born in Krong Kampong Cham, Cambodia.
Chhorn was the beloved son of the late Chin Pan and Mom Yen. In Cambodia, he worked as a jeweler. He survived the Khmer Rouge regime. He knows how it feels to be left with nothing. He’s a very giving man. He would feed anyone that is hungry. He was a father figure too many those who didn’t have one in their life resulting to many god son/daughter.
In 1985, Chhorn immigrated to the United States and initially settled in Texas. While there, he worked as a baker in Abilene. In 1986, he moved his family to Stockton California. In 1998, he relocated to Lowell, MA, where he resided for the past 27 years.
In his leisure time, Chhorn enjoyed sewing, cooking for his friends and family, fishing, and spending time outdoors. Above all, he deeply cherished his family, and spending time with them was his greatest joy.

As we come to terms with Chhorn’s passing, we are faced with the difficult task of arranging his final farewell. We want to give him the dignified and heartfelt send-off he deserves, but unfortunately, the financial burden of funeral expenses is overwhelming for our family during this already challenging time.

We are reaching out to our community for support in honoring Chhorn’s memory. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help alleviate the financial strain and allow us to focus on grieving and remembering him fondly.

All funds raised will go towards the funeral expenses, such as : Dolan Funeral Home service, The Glory Buddhist Temple service, serving food for guest for 2 days, transportation, memorial arrangements, etc. Your generosity will make a meaningful difference in ensuring that Chhorn is laid to rest with the dignity and respect he deserves.

We also appreciate your thoughts, prayers, and messages of support during this difficult time. Your kindness means the world to us as we navigate through our grief.
Thank you for your compassion and generosity.
