Honoring Cheryl: Help Lay Her to Rest
Donation protected
Momma (Cheryl) designed kitchens and greeted her customers, co-workers, and friends with a smile or witty comment. She raised her children as a single mom, working cleaning houses and any odd jobs that offered relief. Despite her adversities, she never for a moment let her determination and work ethic suffer.
Momma worked full time at the Lowe’s in Leeds AL up until she was unable to breathe, calling 911 for help. Upon admission, her doctors found she had double pneumonia and multiple blood clots in her lungs. Within an hour, she would suffer an aneurysm all the way down to her abdomen. She spent her last days at UAB on a ventilator, and died on June 25.
Momma is no longer suffering physically or emotionally, but her impacts within multiple communities and her family leave us all with the task of laying a special woman to rest with respect, dignity, and honor.
As one, we are small, but with many, we can accomplish great things. We boldly ask that you give what you can to honor that person in your life that Momma is.
Is Momma's story similar to yours? Have you overcome the impossible and pushed through emotional and physical pain to accomplish what needs to be done?
Do you know a family member or friend that, despite all that is stacked against them, gets up and pushes through, defying the odds?
Did you meet Momma and she impacted you or inspired you to dig deeper or find the value you were missing?
We humbly ask in the bold name of Jesus that you give what you can so we can give Momma the honor she deserves and lay her to rest.
