Honoring Charles Leggett: Supporting His Legacy and Farewell

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Charles Leggett, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and U.S. Air Force veteran. Charles was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia, which became aggressive in July 2024. To ensure he received the best possible care, our family made the difficult decision to live in two different cities—one near his treatment center and the other maintaining our home and children’s schooling. Despite his courageous fight, Charles passed away on Friday, January 3rd, 2025.

Charles was the proud father of 15 living children, five of whom are still under the age of 18 and living at home. In addition to covering medical and travel expenses incurred during his treatment, we have created this GoFundMe to help with funeral arrangements, including visitation, memorial services, burial costs, obituary publication, and other end-of-life expenses.

Charles lived a life of service, love, and resilience, leaving behind a legacy that we are committed to honoring. We deeply appreciate any support you can provide, whether through donations or by sharing this campaign. Your generosity, love, and prayers mean the world to our family during this challenging time.
