My name is Denise, and I am Charity’s friend and neighbor. Charity S. Viayra passed away on December 30, 2025, at the age of 50 from ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. Charity leaves behind her husband, Roy, and daughters, Kylee and Rebekah. She had so many friends and family who loved her. She is going to be missed dearly by everyone.

Charity fought this disease for 5 years. She was a warrior till the end.

She always joked about life and death. She was an amazing wife, mom, sister, daughter, and friend. Charity was so kind and loving. She loved being with her family and took up reading again, which she said she loved.

ALS not only steals your body and health, but it robs your family financially. This fundraiser will help Roy with Charity’s arrangements and to try and get back on their feet while Roy navigates this new way of life. Roy has been Charity’s caregiver for the last 3 years and will have to return to work. Let’s help them so they have time to grieve and not worry.
