Good Afternoon Everyone,

As we have all heard by now, we have lost one of our own, Polk County Fire Rescue Chaplain Hector Cruz in a vehicle accident. I only had the privilege of meeting Chaplain Cruz one time previously. But I know just by the first meeting that he impacted many people in the fire department and cared deeply. Now it is our turn to care about his people, specifically his wife Nidia Cruz. Captain James Parker and I have created this fundraiser to help his wife as she transitions in this new season of life. Let's rally together and do everything we can for his wife! Thank you!
