Honoring Chandra – A Life of Love, Kindness, and Unshakeable Joy
We are so sad to say goodbye to a sister, auntie, cousin, daughter, friend, and a true jewel.
Chandra was the kindest soul any of us have ever known. She remembered every birthday and anniversary—not just for immediate family, but for extended relatives and lifelong friends—always reaching out with pure, genuine love.
Even on a holiday weekend, nearly 50 people changed or canceled their Thanksgiving plans and traveled hours to gather by her side. That alone speaks to the impact she had on all of us. She never needed attention or recognition; she made a difference simply by caring.
A recent cancer champion, Chandra faced every challenge with grace and her signature bright smile. Even in her pain, she radiated warmth. Even in her hardest moments, she found a way to make us smile. She never asked for anything. Through every step of her fight this past year, all she wanted was to hear stories about our children—her beloved nieces and nephews. As we go through her photos now, we haven’t found a single one without her smiling.
Her life was love. Her legacy is kindness. Her memory will forever be a blessing.
Corinthians 13:6-7
“Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”
“The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
— Psalm 34:18
We are creating this GoFundMe to help cover Chandra’s funeral and memorial costs, and to honor her the way she deserved—with peace, dignity, and love.
If you are able to give, our family is deeply grateful. If you cannot, your prayers, memories, and kind words mean just as much.
Thank you for loving Chandra with us, and for helping us celebrate the beautiful life she lived.
