In Loving Memory of Cesar

With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of our beloved cousin, Cesar, who left us at 52 years young.

Cesar held a very special place in our family. He was the first son, the first grandson, the first nephew, and the first cousin. From the very beginning, he carried a light that reached across generations.

To many, Cesar was a leader. He was a fraternity brother from AKL, he became a pillar of hope, strength, and inspiration to so many of his fraternity brothers. His presence, guidance, and example left a lasting mark on everyone who had the honor of knowing him.

But to our family, Cesar was even more. He was the true meaning of “my older cousin.” He was the one the boys looked up to, the one who helped lead the way, the one who stood tall for all of us. He was not only a metaphorical pillar in our family, but a literal one strong, steady, protective, and always present.

As we mourn this tremendous loss, we also gather to celebrate a beautiful life. We rejoice in the memories, the stories, the laughter, the lessons, and the love Cesar gave so freely.

Let us remember him the way he would have wanted to be remembered: with love, with strength, with joy, and with gratitude for the time we had with him.

May his candle continue to burn for generations to come.
