Help Honor the Life of Celeste Johnson

My name is Taylesiah Ellis, cousin of Jessie “Tonette” Reynolds. I am starting this GoFundMe on her behalf due to the unexpected loss of her daughter, Celeste Johnson.

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Celeste (July 31, 1986-August 23, 2025). Celeste left this world far too soon, surrounded by her family in Spotsylvania, Virginia.

Celeste was a devoted daughter, sister, partner, and above all, a loving mother. She was the heart of her family, known for her big laugh, generous spirit, and her famous catchphrase, “Cut it out.” Whether cheering from the sidelines at her children’s games, organizing family adventures, or simply being there with open arms, Celeste made everyone feel cared for and loved.

Her greatest joy in life was raising her two sons, Chaz (15) and Kace (7). They were truly the center of her world.

Celeste’s life was filled with love, laughter, and light. She touched so many people with her kindness and humor, and now it is our turn to come together in her honor.

Due to an unexpected medical complication, the family is now facing the difficult measure of covering the $13,000 required for funeral services and additional costs during this difficult time. Any contribution, big or small, will go directly toward ensuring Celeste receives the beautiful and dignified farewell she deserves.
