Honoring Cedar

On February 25th, we lost an incredible soul to a tragic accident. Cedar’s smile and giant spirit and presence was loved by many, but most of all by his surviving wife Myranda and 2-year old little boy Alder. Nothing will ever replace his bear hugs, devilish grin, wily jokes, and incredible stories. All who he touched will miss him dearly and it is a struggle to find the words to convey the shock at losing him.
As friends of Myranda and Cedar as well as Aunties of Alder, Bettina and Jess are creating this GoFundMe to support Myranda and Alder, as well as the Towler and Markey families, first and foremost in covering immediate expenses related to the funeral and memorial. Once that has been met however, Myranda and Alder will need more support in many ways over the coming weeks and months as they take on the hard burden of picking up their lives without their smiling giant.
Our sincerest wish is that Myranda will not have to worry about finances while she’s going through the grieving process. The funds raised here are in the benefit of Myranda to be utilized as she sees best fit to cover living expenses as well as Alder’s future needs.
Myranda and the families appreciate everyone who has reached out to offer condolences, sympathy and support. We’ll provide updates as appropriate and respectful to the family. Thank you, from our hearts to all of yours on behalf of Myranda and Alder as well as Cedar who loved them so dearly.
