Honoring the Life of Cassandra ️

Losing Cassandra unexpectedly and so suddenly on Friday, Dec 12th, has broken us in ways we will be trying to understand for the rest of our lives. She was only 29 years old… a mother, a friend, a daughter, a sister — a whole soul that deserved so much more time here with us.

She leaves behind her two beautiful babies, Angelique (10) and baby Anthonee (1) — her entire world. Everything Cassandra did — every late night, every early morning, every braid she did — was always for her kids. She lived for them. She loved them loudly.

Cassandra was the type of person you don’t meet twice. She had a soft heart but a strong spirit. Sweet, goofy, caring, passionate, and real. She could walk into a room and shift the whole energy without even trying. She had this laugh that made you laugh even if you were mad, and she had a way of checking up on people even when she was fighting her own battles. And her talent… beyond words. She loved doing hair, especially braids — and she put her heart into every head she touched. Her chair wasn’t just a chair. It was a safe space. She listened, she encouraged, she uplifted. That was her gift — she made people feel beautiful inside and out.

Her passing has shaken her family, her kids, her friends, and all the lives she touched. None of us were ready for this. We’re still not. But we’re coming together to honor her, to love on her babies, and to give her the beautiful homegoing she truly deserves. We’re asking for help with her funeral and burial costs so we can send her off the right way — with love, peace, and respect. Anything you can give — even a prayer or a share — means the world to us.
