It’s hard to put into words the loss our family is feeling.

Casey was my sister’s world and truly a brother to me. From the moment he came into our lives, he became family in every way that mattered. He showed up, he cared deeply, and he loved fiercely. Casey had a way of making the people around him feel safe, supported, and deeply loved.

Casey and my sister built a life together—one rooted in compassion, devotion, and shared purpose. Casey was my sister’s world here on earth, and his love will always be a part of her story. Together, they created a home filled with love, laughter, and stability, and they raised an incredible daughter who was the center of Casey’s world.

Above all else, Casey was a devoted father and family man. He poured his heart into being present, protective, and loving. He leaves behind his daughters—his oldest, Jessalyn, and Nayleen—and his beloved granddaughter, Ah'lani , who brought him immense joy. Casey was incredibly proud of Ah'lani and loved her deeply; his face would light up whenever he spoke about her and all of his girls. That love, pride, and joy will continue to live on through them and in the stories that will be shared for years to come.

In this season of grief, we are leaning on our faith. We take comfort in knowing that God is close to the brokenhearted and that He walks with us through every moment of sorrow. While we don’t always understand His plans, we trust that Casey’s life, love, and legacy are held securely in God’s care.

Right now, our focus is on surrounding my sister and niece with love, stability, and support as they navigate life after this unimaginable loss.
