Honoring Casey Gryszkiewicz – A Bench at RWJBH Field of Dreams
Our family is heartbroken to share that on December 11, 2025, my brother, Casey Gryszkiewicz, lost his courageous fight with pancreatic cancer. Casey was a deeply private person, but to those who truly knew him, he was loyal, gentle, and fiercely devoted to the people he loved. He was an athlete in his youth, a lifelong sports fan, and most of all, an incredible uncle who adored his nephew, Nikolas.
Nikolas participates in many of the programs at the RWJBH Field of Dreams—a remarkable place that offers baseball, football, basketball, mini golf, a playground, gardening, and work-training opportunities for individuals with special needs. It is a community filled with joy, inclusion, and kindness. It is exactly the type of place Casey would be proud to support.
We are raising funds to place a memorial bench with a plaque at the Field of Dreams in Casey’s honor. The donation required for a bench plaque is $750. Our hope is to create a quiet, lasting space where families can sit, cheer on their loved ones, and feel the same love and dedication Casey carried through his life.
Any additional funds raised beyond the $750 will be donated directly to the RWJBH Field of Dreams to support their programs and keep making dreams possible for so many families—just as they’ve done for Nikolas.
This bench will be more than a seat. It will be a reminder that Casey’s life mattered. That he was treasured. That his memory continues to live on in a place filled with the spirit of sports, community, and hope—three things that reflected who he was.
Thank you for helping us build a lasting tribute to a man we will forever love and miss.
